The Monroe County Board of Elections expects a large turnout at the polls.

Commissioner Thomas Ferrarese says that's typical during Presidential elections.

The board expects about 300,000 people to show up to vote.

“We actually have 1,500 privacy booths out there…more than we had last year,” Ferrarese said. “We've really expanded because we expect a lot more voters. The turn out should be 80-85 percent!”

Ferrarese says there may be lines at the polls. These usually occur around lunch and after 5 p.m. But, Ferrarese says, voters likely won’t have to wait more than 15 minutes.
