Albion, N.Y. - A 20-mile portion of the Erie Canal in Albion will reopen on Thursday.
A 60-foot sinkhole on July 30th led to the closure of the canal on Albion-Eagle Harbor Road.
A portion of that road will remain closed to traffic for the next several weeks, as repair crews complete their work.
