President Obama To Announce Troop Drawdown
(AP) - President Barack Obama is expected to talk about the drawdown of U.S. troops from Afghanistan during Tuesday night's State of the Union address.
The president is expected to say that, by next year, 34-thousand troops in Afghanistan will have returned home.
The decision marks the next phase in Mr. Obama's plans to end the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan by the end of 2014.
Other items on the President's agenda - jobs, immigration reform, climate change and gun control.
