Dansville, N.Y. - The at home daycare provider accused of leaving the children - she was supposed to be watching - was back in court Wednesday afternoon.
Shelly Sick is charged with seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child and misrepresentation of child care provider. She pleaded not guilty to those charges.
Sick operated the daycare out of her house on Franklin Street in Dansville.
The State Office of Children and Family Services says Sick’s daycare license was revoked on September 14 after state inspectors say they found unsupervised children in her home.
Police say the children - 3 years old and younger - were left alone while Sick went to McDonald's.
