Dansville, N.Y.- Police arrested an at-home daycare provider in Dansville who is accused of leaving children in her care unsupervised.

The State Office of Children and Family Services says Shelly Sick’s daycare license was revoked on September 14 after state inspectors say they found unsupervised children in her home.

The Livingston County District Attorney’s office says Sick is accused of leaving several children at her home daycare on Franklin Street on Friday while she went to McDonalds. She is also accused of leaving the children unattended two days earlier.

Sick is charged with seven counts of endangering the welfare of a child and misrepresentation of child care provider.

Sick is accused of misleading police and child protective investigators about the number of children in her care.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges Wednesday afternoon and was released on bail.
