Rochester, N.Y. – Families in the Rochester City School District can get a look ahead at the 2013-2014 school year at the District’s third annual School Choice Expo Saturday.
The event, designed for students entering pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, or high school, features displays and information from various schools in the District. It will also give parents and families the opportunity to ask questions about specific programs offered at each institution.
Among the programs on hand for Saturday’s event are a number of activities geared at encouraging students to read, as well as a, “Music Petting Zoo,” which is aimed to help motivate students to take up a musical instrument.
The event runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
