Rochester, N.Y. - It’s the RPO with the Beatles tribute band “Magical Mystery Tour.” And yes, when you hear them, you think they are the Beatles.
It all plays out on Friday September 28 and Saturday, September 29 at 8 p.m. at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre--as the RPO opens its 90th season.
The concert honors the album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, which was released 45 years ago.
Conductor Jeff Tyzik will be at the helm as fans hear “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “When I’m 64," among others.
Then there’ll be those other songs that, according to the L.A. Times give everybody goose bumps, songs like “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Yesterday,” and “Here Comes the Sun.”
