New York, N.Y. - The New York Civil Liberties Union released a report Wednesday that was critical of sexual education programs in upstate New York's schools.
The advocacy group's report found 44 percent of schools in upstate New York are using outdated information to teach sex ed.
The report also criticized an emphasis on abstinence and monogamy in many schools, and found a lack of education about the use of condoms in some districts, could put students at risk for health issues.
