Road Improvement Plan Coming To Gates

Gates, N.Y. - The New York State Department of Transportation is looking at ways to ease traffic congestion along a Buffalo Road.

A total of $4 million in federal and state money will focus on safety improvements on Buffalo Road between Trabold Road and Marway Circle.

Improvements include widening the road, adding turn lanes and repaving the street.

A public meeting on the road improvement plan is scheduled for Thursday, January 31 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Gates Town Hall.
