The Rochester area drive to work is clearer today than it was Thursday, even though roads and overpasses are frozen in many areas.

You are asked to remember that the roads still can be deceptively slick with "black ice."

Early lake effect snow showers will taper today, as lake effect bands move out over Lake Ontario.

The rest of Friday will remain mostly cloudy.
