Rochester, N.Y. - Firefighters spent the early morning hours Wednesday fighting two fires.
The first started just before 2 a.m. at 31 Winterroth Street.
Two adults and four children live at the home but no one was there at the time of the fire.
Firefighters say the home was fully engulfed when they got there and the cause has not yet been determined.
Firefighters also responded to a second house fire on Seward Street just before 2 a.m.
Five people were home but all got out safe because the smoke alarms were working.
Firefighters say the cause is likely electrical, but an investigation is still underway.
