Hannibal, N.Y. - Two people, including a man from Rochester, died in a car accident Tuesday afternoon in the Town of Hannibal, Oswego County.
Oswego County Sheriff's Deputies say a Jeep driven by Salvator Licciardello, of Rochester, crossed the centerline and hit another car nearly head on. The accident took place on State Route 3 around 1:15 p.m.
Licciardello, 72, was taken to Oswego Hospital and was later pronounced dead. His passenger, Gerlando Cardinale, 69, of Rochester, was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. His condition is not yet known.
The other driver, Tanya Mellon, 24, of Fulton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
