Rochester Man Charged With Two Robberies

Rochester, N.Y. - Greece Police and Rochester Police have charged a Rochester man in connection with two robberies.  

Police have arrested 21 year old Gerald Smalls of Rochester for an alleged robbery in Rochester and Greece.

Police say Smalls approached a man walking his dog on Latta Road on August 28th and demanded the man's belongings. When the victim resisted the suspect stabbed the victim in the shoulder with the scissors. 

Police say it was also Smalls - who approached another man walking on Lake Avenue on September 14th - displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s belongings. 

The suspect was positively identified in both cases and charged with two counts of Robbery in the First Degree as well as other related charges.
