Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester native and Oscar-nominated actor Robert Forster will be honored Tuesday night by the Rochester City School District.
The 71 year old actor - will receive the "Alumi Award" during the Rochester Education Foundation's Partnership Awards dinner held at the Rochester Plaza Hotel.
Forster graduated from Madison High School in 1959.
He has appeared in more than 100 films, earning an Academy Award nomination for his role in Quentin Tarantino's 1997 film, "Jackie Brown."
He most recently appeared in "The Descendants," playing George Clooney's father-in-law.
