Rochester, N.Y. - Several Rochester residents graduated Tuesday night.
They were part of a Rochester Police Department program called the Citizen's Police Academy.
It was established in 1992 to educate citizens and give them a better understanding of police work and department policies.
Graduates of the program then teach others in the community about working with police to reduce crime.
This is the 21st graduating class.
The next session will take place this winter.
