Rochester, N.Y. - The Board of Directors of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra says a judge rejected a temporary restraining order that would have required Wednesday's annual meeting to be rescheduled.
That meeting will be able go on as planned Wednesday at 5pm at the Eastman Theatre.
A group of RPO members upset with the firing of music director Arild Remmereit is trying to write-in alternate candidates to the board.
The group accused the RPO of not following its own bylaws, and wanted a judge to sign a restraining order to delay the meeting.
