Rochester, N.Y. - School 16 in the 19th Ward may stay open after all, and that's good news for many parents who have fought to keep it open.
Superintendent Bolgen Vargas unveiled the final draft of the district's modernization plan Thursday.
Under the new plan, School 16 will be renovated and will reopen to students in 2015.
Parents and community members had been upset that the school was originally slated to close.
