Rochester, N.Y. (AP) - Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says his investigation into the sale of synthetic drugs has resulted in 12 lawsuits against 16 shops, and court orders removing the substances from stores statewide.

An owner of three smoke shops in the Rochester-area has been fined $32,000.

Wednesday’s raids on local smoke shops were part of a nationwide crackdown on synthetic drugs known as "Operation Log Jam."
