Rochester, N.Y. – Officials unveiled a new taxiway at the Greater Rochester International Airport Tuesday morning.
The 75-foot-wide Taxiway P, funded by an FAA grant, is designed to improve movement for large aircrafts. It includes new asphalt, drainage improvements, improved electrical lighting and pavement markings.
The $2 million project was completed last month, ahead of schedule and under budget. It’s the final project in the airport’s 2005 master plan.
