Rochester, N.Y. – More than 100 people marched Saturday to rally against domestic violence.
The Tabernacle Church of Rochester organized the event, hoping it inspires the community to talk about domestic violence and make the city’s streets safer.
“We’ve had a lot of killings in the last couple of months, and we don’t want that anymore,” organizer Lucila Matos said. “We want to live in a very peaceful place in the name of Jesus.”
