Rochester, N.Y. -- Members of the Rochester Fire Department rescued a woman from the rocks at Lower Falls on Tuesday.
The call came in just after 6:10 about a woman at the bottom of the gorge yelling for help.
Rescuers found the woman shivering with a possible fractured leg and hypothermia.
About an hour later, the woman was hooked to a rope and was pulled up about 70 feet.
The Driving Park Bridge was closed during the rescue.
Medics took the woman to Strong Hospital.
Rescuers have not said how the woman got stranded but that she might have been in the gorge four to five hours.
