Texas - New details have come to light in the case of a former Navy SEAL and his friend who were shot to death at a shooting range in Texas.

Police have released 911 calls from the sister of Eddie Routh, the alleged shooter.

The calls came just moments after he told her what he had done.

Routh's sister: “He told me that he has committed a murder.”

911 Operator: “Okay hold on.”

Sister: “And I am terrified for my life.”

Operator: “Okay, hold on.”

Sister: “Because I don't know if he's going to come back here."

Operator: "And who did he say he had killed?”

Sister: “He said he killed two guys; they went out to a shooting range. Like he's all crazy.
Now, listen don't know if he's being honest with me!”

Operator: “I know."

So far, Routh has refused to meet with his family or his court-appointed attorney.

The Iraq War veteran is charged with killing Chris Kyle and his friend Chad Littlefield at a Texas shooting range Saturday.

Kyle left the Navy in 2009 after four tours of duty in Iraq, where he earned a reputation as one of the military’s most lethal snipers.

Kyle had recently co-written the book “American Sniper” which was released in January. He was working on a new book.
