Henrietta, N.Y.- A teacher in Rush Henrietta got a huge surprise in her classroom Tuesday morning.

OfficeMax awarded Kim Weeks with $1,000 worth of classroom supplies.

It’s part of the company’s annual program which helps erase teacher-funded classrooms.

Weeks, a 4th grade teacher at Fyle Elementary, was nominated by her principal for demonstrating passion, dedication and innovation in her class.

Weeks says she is honored for being nominated.

"Thinking about the kind words my colleagues said about me,” says Weeks. “It means a lot to get such a special award."
