Rushville, N.Y.- Ontario County Sheriff’s Investigators want to speak with the drivers of two different vehicles witnessed in the area of a hit and run crash in Rushville last week that severely injured a bicyclist.

Kevin Royston, 43, was struck while riding his bicycle on Town Line Road around 7:00 p.m. on June 5. The driver did not stop.

Another driver on his way to Wayland discovered the victim lying in the ditch next to a broken bicycle.  He had been riding up a small hill, when he was struck from behind.

Investigators are looking to speak with the drivers of an older model red corvette and a pick-up truck pulling a flat bed-style trailer with a water tank on it. These vehicles were witnessed westbound on Town Line Road shortly before Royston was hit.

Royston lost his leg as a result of the accident.

Investigators would like anyone with information to contact them.

The number to call is 585-396-4634.
