Rochester, N.Y. - A special mass to celebrate the election of Pope Francis will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Flower City Park this Sunday, March 17th at 5 p.m.
Father Edward Salmon, a Jesuit priest who is president of McQuaid Jesuit High School will preside and preach.
Pope Francis is the first member of the worldwide Jesuit order of priests to be elected Pope.
