Rochester, N.Y. - A 6-year-old boy fell from the window of a Rochester home late Wednesday morning.
A neighbor told 13WHAM News she saw the child dangling from a window on Petrel Street, and yelling for help. She said that as she tried to run up and help, the boy fell.
The child hit his head on the ground, and was bleeding, according to the witness.
A spokesperson for Rural Metro Ambulance said the child was taken by ambulance to the hospital, with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.
The sister of the victim said her father was sleeping at the time of the fall.
Earlier Wednesday morning on Weaver Street, a four-year-old girl was hurt after falling from a window of a home on Weaver Street. Rochester Police said the fall happened after the child was left home alone, while her father dropped her mother off at work. Both parents were ticketed for endangering the welfare of a child.
