Rochester, N.Y. (AP) - Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D) is making a swing through upstate New York to promote legislation she says will boost high-tech manufacturing.
Gillibrand plans stops Monday in the Rochester to talk about a bill called "Made In America Manufacturing Act". She says it would create a federal funding competition to encourage public-private partnerships.
The Senator says the bill aims at spurring growth in local manufacturing.
