Rochester, N.Y.- A Greece man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for two home invasions targeting elderly victims.
John Meyers was sentenced Tuesday.
He and two others were accused of robbing a 99 year-old man on December 8th. Police say the three burst into the man's Meadowwood Road home, held him down, and stole cash and jewelry before fleeing.
In a separate case, on Christmas Eve, authorities say Meyers broke into a home on Rye Road where he beat and robbed the 84-year-old woman inside.
In addition to the 15 years in prison, Meyers also received five years post-release supervision.
