Rochester, N.Y. - Sentencing is scheduled today for the man who pleaded guilty to killing a man in a Henrietta hotel in 2008.
Preston Carter killed Joel Greenberg at the Extended Stay Hotel three years ago.
Police say Carter was identified as a suspect early on in the investigation.
He faces 25 years to life in prison.
