Lyons, N.Y. - A man from Wayne County convicted of raping a 9-month-old baby was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison Tuesday.
Last month, Richard Dallas, 25, was convicted on six of the eight felony counts against him.
A judge told Dallas in court Tuesday, “I do not believe you have any redeemable qualities.” He also called him a danger to society.
The child is now 17 months old. Her mother says she is recovering well. Doctors expect the child to make a full recovery.
