Irondequoit, N.Y. – Services in the Town of Irondequoit may be delayed as a result of the June 1 fire at a salt barn at Irondequoit’s Public Works facility on Titus Avenue, according to Town Supervisor Mary Joyce D’Aurizio.

The town board will meet later this week to assess the damages. Only a few beams of the building were left after the Friday afternoon fire.

The fire is still under investigation, but the supervisor says it appears to have been an accident.
