Kendall, Orleans County - A Kendall man is facing charges for allegedly shooting his wife, then turning the gun on himself.
Dennis Buehler, 64, is charged with attempted murder and assault in connection with the March 4 incident.
Police say he shot his wife at the couple's Kendall home, then set fire to the house. Police say he then shot himself in the face.
Both Buehler and his wife are expected to recover from their injuries.
An order of protection was issued for the victim.
More charges are pending against Buehler, who was arraigned in the hospital and is being held on $250,000 bail or $500,000 bond.
