Rochester, N.Y. – A shooting late Friday on Child St. sent one person to the hospital.
Police responded to the area of Child and Maple St. just before 9:30 p.m. for the report of a person shot. Officers say the victim, a man in his 30’s, was inside a house when he was hit in the lower body with a shot from outside.
He was taken to Strong Hospital and is currently listed in guarded condition.
Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
