Rochester, N.Y. - About two dozen city students went on a special shopping spree courtesy of the Rochester Police Department.
They were paired up with an officer for the "Shop with a Cop" event at Eastview Mall.
Students in the group had the opportunity to ride in police cars and pick out Christmas gifts.
This is the first year Rochester police have taken part a "Shop with a Cop" program.
