Rochester, N.Y. - Skateboarding beneath the I-490 bridge in downtown Rochester is another step closer to someday becoming a reality.

The city will spend about $50,000 to study the design and cost of such a project.

A local non-profit group has been trying to raise support for a downtown skate park for South Avenue.

The study should be completed next year.
