Rochester, N.Y. – All winter storm warnings have been canceled, but the area is still digging out from a solid 10-16” of snow from the storm Wednesday night.
Officially Rochester saw 10.9" of snow from the system.
Thursday night, expect occasional snow flurries and patches of freezing drizzle. Minimal additional snow accumulation is expected. The low will reach the middle 20s.
Friday will be mainly gray with a few flurries east of Rochester. Expect a high around 30 degrees. Friday night will be chilly with gray skies, expect a low in the low to mid 20s.
A few flurries or light snow showers will be possible Saturday. A coating to a 1” of new snow will be possible. We expect a high in the lower 30s.
Sunday we’ll find any flurries ending with sunny breaks late. The high will be around 30 degrees.
Monday won’t be as cold with mostly cloudy skies for New Year’s Eve. The high will reach the middle 30s. A cold front will cross the region New Year’s Day with lake effect snow developing.
On Tuesday, expect temperatures in the upper 20s.
