(Rochester, N.Y)- A second story apartment suffered extensive damage after a fire broke out Monday morning.
The Rochester Fire Department tells us the fire started just after 7a.m. on the second floor of a building on South Plymouth Avenue. We're told the resident of the apartment had left for work some time before the fire started.
Residents who live downstairs heard the fire alarm going off and called 911.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is unknown, it is under investigation.
