Rochester, N.Y. – As Tuesday temperatures soar towards 90, everybody wants to cool off.
The City of Rochester can help.
Spray parks will be open all week from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
The pool at Genesee Valley Park is also open.
The water spray parks help you chill seven days a week until Labor Day.
Rochester’s annual "
Cool Sweep" is slated to start next Monday. In addition to the spray parks, that includes fire hydrants and pools being opened up in the city at various locations on super hot days.
The spray parks often serve as gathering spots for neighbors, as well.
