Rochester, NY -- Hundreds of people have emailed the Blue Cross Arena to find out if the Bruce Springsteen concert is still on for Tuesday night.

Arena General Manager Jeff Calkins tells 13WHAM News the concert is on as of Monday morning. Calkins has a conference call with the Springsteen tour managers late Monday morning. Calkins says the crew for the show is already in Rochester. Springsteen is not here yet.

Calkins says with Hurricane Sandy they need to consider everyone's safety, for example, some people are traveling to Rochester from Boston and Long Island for the concert. Calkins said Springsteen himself has said he doesn't want people on the road if conditions are bad.

Calkins said he'll update 13WHAM News as soon as he is done with the conference call.
