Rochester, N.Y.- Looking to paint the town green? Local leaders announced plans Thursday for this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration in downtown Rochester.
The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Celtic Faire will be held Saturday, March 16.
This year’s theme: The Shamrock and the Trinity.
The parade starts at 12:30 p.m. on East Avenue to Main Street and ends at Plymouth Avenue. The grand marshal will be Johnny Savino.
The Celtic Faire runs from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Radisson Riverside Hotel. There will be Irish dancers, storytellers and games.
