Rochester, N.Y.- Plans for a new MCC downtown campus moved forward Tuesday night.

The Monroe County Legislature approved a capital plan that supports a new downtown campus.

MCC's Board of Trustees has voted in favor of moving the campus from the Sibley Building to Eastman Kodak on State Street.

Tuesday's vote doesn't deal directly with a site for the campus.

That should come in December when lawmakers must vote on financing the actual project.
