(Rochester, N.Y.) - According to the New York State Police, the recent "Stop DWI" campaign was a big success.

More than 33,000 traffic tickets were issued over a two and a half week period; more than 500 people were arrested for driving while intoxicated.

The campaign ran from December 14 through the New Year's holiday.
