Rochester, N.Y. - Rochester is home to one of the largest deaf and hard of hearing populations in the country, according to a new report.
The study by the Rochester Institute of Technology confirms what has been assumed, but never quantified until now.
The study also found Rochester has the highest percentage of deaf residents enrolled in secondary education, which is likely due to the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.
