Rochester, N.Y. - West Webster Firefighter Joe Hofstetter is expected to be at the Blue Cross Arena On Sunday for "First Responder Appreciation Day."
The appreciation event will be held by the Lancers indoor soccer team.
The team will invite local first responders onto the field for a ceremony which will include a special thank you.
Hofstetter was injured during the Christmas Eve ambush on Lake Road in Webster.
He is the event's Honorary Captain.
All proceeds from sales of a commemorative T-shirt will go to West Webster Fire Department and families.
