ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - State officials speaking on the condition of anonymity say New York's budget is expected to include a $9 an hour minimum wage and $700 million in new business tax cuts with some directed to middle-class families.

The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the internal closed-door discussions.

State officials continue to negotiate the state budget privately at the Capitol.

Senate Republican leader Dean Skelos says there are no final deals on any aspect of the budget.

Sources say the $7.25 an hour minimum wage would rise to $8 in January and up to $9 in two years.
