Walworth, N.Y. - A Walworth teen was hit and killed early Wednesday morning, moments after a car crash.

New York State Police said Bradley Meyvis, 19, crashed his car into a guardrail on Route 104 near Lincoln Road. When troopers responded shortly after 2 a.m., Meyvis was not found inside the vehicle.

Troopers later received a 911 call about a man running in the westbound lane of Route 104. Moments later, investigators said Meyvis was struck and killed by a vehicle in the westbound lane of the highway.

Investigators said no charges are expected against the driver who hit Meyvis while he was outside of his vehicle in the roadway.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
