-- A grand jury has indicted a 15-year-old Rochester boy on charges that he shot and wounded a police officer late last month.On Friday, a Monroe County grand jury charged Tyquan Rivera with felonies of attempted second-degree murder and first-degree assault in the shooting of Officer Anthony DiPonzio, 23.
Rivera, who turned 15 on Saturday, will be arraigned on the indictment next week.
DiPonzio is in stable condition. His family says he will begin rehabilitation at St. Mary's next week.
