Rochester, N.Y. - Thousands of people were downtown Saturday, for the biggest night of the fringe festival.

If one thing defines this event, it's its variety.

There was quite a list of things to do, including plays, dance, and music -- many forms of performance art.  The headliner of the Fringe Festival, comedian Patton Oswalt, performed at the Kodak Theater - filling the room with laughter.  Bill Evans Dance performed on Gibbs Street, showcasing tap and modern tango.

A huge crowd was on hand earlier in the day, to watch Bandaloop perform for the second time during Fringe Fest.  The world-renowned aerial dance group danced down the side of the HSBC Plaza for amazed onlookers.

“I really didn't know what to expect; it was a unique experience,” said Dave Rice, when asked about Fringe Fest.  “It was definitely a one of a kind festival.  Out of all the festivals we have here in Rochester, it was a unique one.”

There's one more day of fringe festival.  Events run until 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
