Rochester, N.Y. -Heavy rain on Tuesday afternoon caused widespread flash flooding in southwest Monroe County near Scottsville.

In addition to heavy rain and vivid lightning, winds up to 60 mph were recorded with some of these storms.

Wednesday night looks rain free with a low near 63.

The heat and humidity will build again at the end of the work week as a warm front crosses WNY. Thursday looks mainly dry right now with a high near 88.

Isolated Florida like pop-up showers and thunderstorms will be possible Friday and Saturday with a high near 90 degrees.
