Henrietta, N.Y. – The Tops Friendly Markets store on Jefferson Road in Henrietta is planning a move down the street.
Michael Palumbo, Chief Operations Officer of Flaum Management, which owns the Frontier Commons Plaza, says the supermarket will move from its current location on Jefferson Road across the street into 55,000 square foot space in Frontier Commons, currently occupied by Frontier Telephone. A fuel station will also be added.
Frontier Telephone will remain in the plaza and will move to a renovated space.
Flaum Management applied to the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency for tax breaks.
A public hearing for the project is scheduled for January 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Henrietta Town Hall.
The project still needs to be approved.
